The Chapel Royal is a warm, open, and affirming church community at the heart of Brighton’s city centre, where you’ll find peace, sanctuary, support and worship.
The Chapel Royal is the Church of England’s parish for central Brighton. We are enriched by one of the most diverse communities in the city.
Everyone is welcome at the Chapel Royal, exactly as they are.
The Chapel Royal is located on North Street, on the southern boundary of the Royal Pavillion Gardens, directly opposite Hannington’s Lane.
The Chapel Royal is wheelchair friendly, with disabled facilities. We have an induction loop for services.
The simplest way to reach the Chapel Royal is by bus. Alight at North Street and look for the brick clock tower.

Central Brighton was laid out long before the invention of the car, and the Chapel Royal does not have a car park, or an ideal spot for dropping off.
There is a taxi rank on East Street, approximately 2 minutes walk from the Chapel Royal.
